Move It Forward+ Hackathon, ‘Cyberbullying against Women and Girls’

January 29, 2022 January 30, 2022 CET

The ‘Move it Forward’ concept has been successfully implemented in six countries and now it’s Romania’s turn! The young women from the Art Vocational High School will participate in a face-to-face Hackathon with the theme of Cyberbulling. Reach out if you want to be part of the team!

What are the good reasons to participate in this hackathon?

  1. Focused on beginners: no previous experience with the technology is required;
  2. Practical and results-oriented: practical, production-oriented workshops and digital skills;
  3. Socially oriented: the results are projects/business ideas that address social challenges and with a clear social impact;
  4. Local Ecosystem and Community: Reaching out to the local community helps provide solutions that are right for the local ecosystem and ensures greater support for initiatives beyond the event;
  5. Pursuing continuity: the continuity of projects beyond the event is ensured by the support of partners (speakers, mentors, coaches) through a specific number of mentoring hours, which increases the chances that participants can launch a successful activity.
  6. Language and branding: a specific language has been adopted to address unconscious gender stereotypes related to digital entrepreneurship, which is also reflected in the adopted branding.
