The Moveitforward+ partners have come together in Bruxelles for 2 and a half-day training. DLI has invited all partners into their new revenue to discuss the project and deepen the experience with workshops. The five partners: Digital Leadership Institution, DLI (Belgium), Led by Her (France), WIDE – Women in Digital Initiatives (Luxembourg), Fundatia Professional (Romania), Viesoji Istaiga Siaures Miestelio Technologiju Parkas (Lithuania) and Centar Tehnicke Kulture Rijeka (Croatia) sent their project coordinators, adult educators and Junior staff to Belgium to be trained.

The first day started with focusing on creating a deeper understanding of the Moveitforward+ Mission, taking into account various psychological aspects. Katja from DLI) gave a reflection on the current situation of women and entrepreneurship which was supported by survey results that have been conducted during WOWcode2confidence.

Building on experience, the goal is to make a sustainable change. The three main pillars of the Moveitforward+ events are access to network, digital and entrepreneurial skills, especially tech skills and the stimulation of digital entrepreneurship through the creation of projects.

The second day started with a workshop familiarizing the MIF partner with MIT App inventor, allowing the partners to create a translation app. The morning program was followed by administrative work, regarding work decisions and the toolkit.

On the 3rd day, short presentations about the single parts of a Moveitforward+ event have been given by the MIF partners. The exercise allowed us to eliminate uncertainties and reflect on the past two days. During these three days, guidelines have been established. The MIF partners are willing to stick to those rules and can modify different areas to fit regional needs and customs.

A toolkit will be created with the help of all partners. It is an easy-to-use manual for external organizations which are planning to host a Move it forward+ event. It will be divided into different sections:

•    The psychological aspect and the bigger picture (Why?)

•    Type of community needed (Who?)

•    Content (theme, workshop, types of the keynote) (What?)

•    Events process: Project brainstorming and grouping work with coaches, project selection and awarding (How 1)

•    Organizational process: Events logistic, material, outreach (How 2)

This tool will be downloadable from the moveitforward+ website, along with checklists, jury sheets and certificates. The paper pays close detail to language use and branding. A detailed description of different people (speakers, coaches, MC …) who are involved will be given, as well as their tasks and responsibilities. The Toolkit will be available in different languages by June.
